Beatport has announced a new and handy subscription service called Beatport LINK that allows DJs to stream the music platform's extensive catalog (over seven million tracks) directly into performance software. You can cancel your LINK subscription at any time. You will not be billed for the following month after you have canceled. Beatport has also revealed Beatport LINK’s first performance software integration, available via Pioneer DJ’s WeDJ app, which was developed in close collaboration with Pioneer DJ. Beatport LINK is a streaming service for DJs that makes Beatport’s extensive electronic music catalog available to stream audio (AAC 128kbps and 256 kbps quality) into LINK subscription enabled devices. Subscribers can also play tracks from their existing collection and purchase any tracks they want to keep for offline use. In addition, they can use the features provided by their software and hardware setups.
Launching at a competitive price point of $14.99 a month, the service is now available as a 30-day free trial. LINK integrates with Pioneer’s existing DJ performance software rekordbox and offers DJs the ability to mix in offline performance mode. Alongside LINK, Beatport are releasing a beta version of Beatport CLOUD, which enables users to preview tracks, re-download previously purchased tracks and collate their selections in a personalised library.
“The launch of Beatport LINK exhibits our commitment to creating the best possible experience for our expanding ecosystem of DJs, and we can think of no better partner than Pioneer DJ for the service’s first software integration.”
